In Dec 2016. UGSAS helped out with the annual collection of food by a Glasgow Airport Firefighter for the Salvation Army Foodbank.  They were overwhelmed by the effort of the students, staff and Babcock employees who contributed over 700 cans to help less fortunate families over the Christmas Period .  The students had a competition between their 2 Flights to see who could collect the most cans and we charged an admission fee of 3 cans to get in to the RAFA Quiz Night.
